BF Forestry Winches 3 – 9 ton

Balfor Forestry Winches are available in versions 3 ton, 3.5 tons, 4.5 ton, 5.5 ton, 7.5 ton and 9 tons.
All models from the BF 35 (3.5 ton) are fitted as standard with top and lower pulley and models from BF 45 upward with a tow hitch. The winches are equipped with single or multiple dry clutch disc (depending on model) for longer life and a smoother engagement. They are also fitted with a full width butt plate and window guard as standard. Balfor Winches use an automatically locking band brake, with adjustable preload to allow for easy unwinding.
R models have a lower winch speed reduced to 0.6m/s.
H models are Electrohydraulic controlled, this reduces user fatigue and allows for an upgrade to a wireless remote control if required. With an option for a hydraulic cable unwinder on models 7 ton upwards for greater levels of productivity. All cable is double flatted type, offering more flexibility and greatly reduces the chances of kinks in the cable giving a longer service life.
The winches have storage for chains and accessories and also include a chainsaw and axle holders. H models can also be fitted with throttle cable to allow control via the tractor.
